Wild Card Improv

This fabulous show is on hold, stopped by the coronavirus which also closed the theater permanently. I hope to resume the show in the future.

This show is an Improv Wild Card competition like you’ve never seen before. The audience is the decider! Joker-Directors put players to the test with Wild Card moves. Players give the show their ‘improv best’ to win the coveted ‘Ace Award for Best Improvised Scenes.’

Wild Card Improv is a show based on the concept that good scene work is the foundation of improv and that by wrapping it in an entertaining game format, both Players and the audience will enjoy the performance even more. The audience gives feedback to the Players by voting on each scene. Players must support their randomly chosen scene partners in facing unknown scene elements (wild cards) given to them on the spot. Behind the scenes, Players receive further ‘Notes’ or feedback post-show to grow their skills as improvisers. Wild Card Improv is a show intended for an audience that is made up of both improvisers and non-improvisers. Carolyn Cole, Creator, Producer & Director
